Sightseeing cruises
City River Cruises offers a choice of sightseeing cruises, either upstream to the scenic parks and gardens of the Yarra River or downstream to the Melbourne Docklands each offering beautiful views and historic sights.
Melba A - Port of Melbourne and Docklands: Down River Cruise
As you travel downstream tot he port of Melbourne, you will pass Southgate, Melbourne's Crown Casino (largest in Australia), Melbourne Aquarium, World Trade Centre, Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Polly Woodside (Melbourne's Maritime Museum), containerised cargo port and of course the famous Westgate and Bolte Bridges. Melbourne is the Southern Hemisphere's busiest general cargo port and is a vital link in Australia's economy.
Melba B - Parks and Gardens: Up River Cruise
As you cruise up to historic Herring Island (Como), you will pass some of Melbourne's most famous landmarks, gardens and sports arenas, such as the Royal Botanic Gardens, The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), The National Tennis Centre, The Melbourne Sports & Entertainment Centre, Olympic Park, Toorak Mansions and ornate bridges. This peaceful part of the Yarra offers beautiful views and is only minutes away from the heart of the city. The tree-lined Yarra River catches the true charm of Melbourne.

Bookings are required for groups of 20 people or more.
Wheelchair access is not guaranteed on any particular day or time due to
changing tide conditions - tide permitting access is available for manual
